I am a visual and interaction designer.
I graduated with an M.F.A. in Design Research and Development from the Ohio State University. I got my B.F.A. degree in Graphic Design from Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey).
While completing my MFA degree, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Instructor and latter as an art director at the ¿Qué Pasa, Ohio State? Magazine.
The MFA program guided me to discover a new passion which is Design for Social Change. I am interested in transforming complex information using data visualization, visual, and interaction design.
In my thesis research I focused on creating interactive data visualization systems that increases our understanding of multi-faceted, dynamic situations, through case study applications to illuminate the environmental effects of the Syrian War.
